Gregory Donaghey - All Ages SINGER AND COMEDIAN Many remember Gregory Donaghey as the lead singer of the Carlton Showband, which was so popular in Newfoundland and Labrador. As a solo singer, he performs with the heart and soul of an Irishman. He entertains with his renditions of many of the standards that people with Irish and Celtic roots enjoy so much. In March 2006, he entertained at the Fireman's Ball in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador, to standing ovations. As a change of pace during the performance, he becomes "The Laughing Policeman" or "Jake the Peg," leaving audiences laughing and asking for more!
